Last week we got great news from two of our family members who have been battling cancer. Sindy (Ashley's mom) went to her oncologist last week to have a post-op check and was declared to be cancer free! She does not have to go through any chemo or radiation, but they will be keeping a close eye on her with follow up checks. We are so grateful & happy that she dodged such a huge bullet! Then, after a special fast & many, many prayers MaryLou (Morgan's mom) received news last week that she is cancer free as well! It is truly a miracle! MaryLou was not able to complete all of her treatments because she became so deathly ill and had so many adverse reactions. She had been told that she had an 85% chance that her cancer would still be there. But because of a loving Heavenly Father, she was truly blessed and we are so glad that her prognosis turned out great! Leslie (JaLee's mom) is now finished with her last round of chemo and waiting for her final surgery. We will be praying for her and hoping that her results will be the same as Sindy's and MaryLou's. My sister, Karen, will be having surgery to remove her tumor a week from tomorrow. More prayers are needed!! She is strong and her attitude is amazing. Maybe one of these days, NO one in the family will have cancer! We can always hope!

Wow, your family has really been touched by cancer. I'm so glad to hear the good news. Now we hope for good news for your sister. Your new background is cute. I need to change mine but can't ever remember how I did it before...duh!
We'll keep Karen in our prayers. I actually did take my girls to see Grandma Carol when we were in St. George...we had a fun visit with her in her home...I just forgot to include it my blog post...my memory only works half the time these days.
