FINALLY - A Spring Weekend

This past weekend was so nice! It was great to finally have some warm weather and to be outside. Kirk said that we will soon be complaining about the heat! I guess we're never satisfied, but 70 degree weather would be perfect for me year round! We didn't have a real eventful weekend, but enjoyed being together, catching up on a few things, and just being outside a little. We watched Preslie for a good part of Saturday so Morgan could work on finishing their basement. Sometimes it is really fun to spend time with only one grandchild at a time. She was so much fun! On Sunday, after our church responsibilities, we had Mark and family over for dinner. Little did they know, it was a bribe! We bought a gazebo at Home Depot on Saturday and wanted Mark's help putting it together. Anyone that knows us, know that Kirk isn't real fond of "do it yourself" projects. It went together without too many hitches and WE LOVE IT! Then, we called Morgan & Melissa and told them to come have some pudding cake (another bribe??) and for Morgan to be sure and bring his concrete drill. We worry about the wind around here a little (okay - A LOT) - but hopefully it will last us a couple of summers and then we can build a more permanent patio cover. Thanks to our family for all of your help! It was a really fun day! We missed Jason & Ashley, but they had just returned home from their weekend in St George and needed to catch their breath!
