I'm not even sure how many years we have had a "Christmas Breakfast" as one of our traditions, but it's been many. Great Grandma Nahna & Great Grandpa Gaylen have always hosted, but for several reasons, this year we had it in our favorite eating spot - Kirk's shop. Grandpa Gaylen is still recovering from his heart attack scare - doing well, but still needing to take it pretty easy. Plus, Great Grandma Nahna has had her hands very full helping with the full time care now needed for Great Great Grandma Utahna. Not to mention that our own family now numbers 16 and is getting to be too many to fit in their home. So..... this year everyone had an assignment and we had another yummy breakfast with more food than we could eat. Breakfast casseroles, doughnuts, fresh pineapple, oranges, pull-apart bread, bacon, Nahna's speciality pancackes, hot chocolate, and juice. Most delicious!!!! Then, the cousins had a great time exchanging gifts and playing with their Santa toys. It was fun morning and once again, our hearts were full. We are so grateful for all of our blessings and most especially the closeness and love we share as a family!
