This year it was our turn to have everyone over for Thanksgiving Dinner. We really look forward to that. The good thing for our kids is that their in-laws all live in Richfield, too, so they get to see both sides of the family every year. I think it is great! The night before Thanksgiving, I had the five oldest grandkids over to help me with some projects for the big T-Day. We made oreo turkeys and marshmellow pilgrim hats. It was a big mess, but lots of fun.
Kirk worries a little that some might not relish the idea of Thanksgiving Dinner in our truck shop, but believe me, it is the cleanest shop in town and when we get through decorating and making things fancy, we all think it is a great place to have big family dinners and get-togethers. There is plenty of room to spread out, the kids can run and play, and if someone spills - no big deal! Perfect! And, of course, there is a gas heater to make everything all warm & cozy. 
Everyone helped with food assignments and the dinner was absolutely delicious. Brent, Joan, Stephen & Sara were there. Kim, Lisa, Scott & Paige also joined us this year. Grandpa Gaylen & Grandma Nahna were here, too. (Of course!)
And our guest of honor - Great, Great Grandma Utahna, who is now 94 years old. She has been failing over the last year, but we were so thrilled that she could come and join us and so grateful for the example she is in all of our lives.
Preslie wanted to be right up on the cupboard helping with the food preparations and of course, grandma let her!
The three little girls had their own table. Not sure how much Katera & Preslie were into eating, and......
little Aubrei wasn't interested at all for the moment. She was having fun just wandering around.
These five have so much fun together! After dinner we played Bingo, did word searches, and crossword puzzles. There were prizes galore - it was a really fun day for all!
