Easter Fun

Keeping a close idea on the weather, we sort of made a last minute decision to have a big Easter Barbecue at our house on Saturday afternoon. I was feeling a little disorganized after my trip to SLC in the middle of the week, but with everyone's help, we pulled it off. The weather was beautiful and the kids (and adults) just loved being outside. The kids played in the playhouse and on the swing set, we decorated cupcakes, colored Easter Eggs, barbecued chicken (Thanks Jason - he is the expert at barbecuing chicken), had a Easter egg hunt, a treasure hunt, and just enjoyed visiting and spending time together as family. We missed Morgan, Melissa, and family, but they were spending the weekend with the Harward's. We were joined by Paul & Jessica and their 3 little ones - Dalton & Morgan call me Grandma - and I'm just great with that. Mike & Sindy joined us for dinner, as well as Grandpa Gaylen & Grandma Nahna. Thanks everyone for your help with food and for making it a really special holiday. There is nothing like spending time with friends and family!
