Saturday morning Kirk & I left for another trip to St George for the weekend. This time for a surprise birthday celebration for Kelly & Gayle. Their kids put together a big party to mourn the passing of their parents' youth - Gayle on February 26 and Kelly on March 28. They went to a lot of work and transformed the cultural hall at their ward into a real "black" party atmosphere right down to everyone attending wearing black. Where was your black, Kelly & Gayle? Oh... that's right... you weren't let in on the dress code. Kelly knew there was a surprise party for Gayle, but he didn't know that he was the other half of the celebration. Christopher gave some great "eulogies" or as he called them "you-googlies" Both of the moms shared some memories and a few laughs. There was lots of good food and great music! It was a really fun party and we were so glad we went. We fit in some shopping, relaxing, and visiting with Grandpa Don & Grandma Carol; but the time went by very quickly. Jason & Ashley called on our way home and invited us to stop for dinner. That was greatly appreciated since we didn't have a kitchen to go home to yet and were wondering what we would eat. Then, when we arrived home, Morgan, Melissa and family were all there. Morgan and Melissa were still working very hard to finish up our kitchen project. Unfortunately, I picked a new faucet that didn't fit and they weren't able to get my sink in. Mark, JaLee, and the kids came over soon after we got home, so we had a house full. It was chaos, but great to see all of them. What would we do without our family!!!
