Kirk got home on Friday night before I did, but went up to see his mom and dad. Grandma Utahna was there and was having a bad day. We are sure worried about her. She has a good day, then a bad day or two. She is such a great example to us of perseverance and strength. She never complains. She has always shown such great love for all of us. I don't know where the weekends disappear to.... but they sure seem to go fast. Saturday is really the only full day that Kirk and I are able to spend together. Sometimes we are so busy that we hardly have time to take a deep breath, but this past weekend was so refreshing. We just decided to take it easy. We did our early morning exercise routines and the usual catching up, but mostly just puttered around. We went to dinner Saturday night at the Sagebrush Grill in Monroe with Jason & Ashley, and Mark & JaLee (without kids). That was really fun! Love those grandkids, but occasionally it is nice to have some quiet adult conversation with our grown kids. We really missed Morgan & Melissa - Morgan was in Nevada snowmobiling and Melissa didn't want to go without him. We all think that we should try and make this happen as often as we can - maybe once a month or even every other month. It's a great way to catch up! Sunday morning and early afternoon is taken up with church and church callings, but we still have most of the afternoon and evening together and we love it! The last two weekends we have been watching a series of movies that I recently purchased - the "Love Comes Softly" series. There are five movies and we finished them up on Sunday. They might not be action packed enough for some, but they were good clean movies and entertaining. We really liked them. Monday morning came way too soon and it was time for another work week. Hopefully it will be a good one!
